Een kleurrijke, praktische maté beker van glas met een buitenkant van blauw geweven textiel. Original Parana wooden tiger gourd, made in Brazil from thick-walled gourd fruits. The cuia differs in shape from the classic Argentine gourd. It comes from a different part of the plant, closer to the stem, giving it its characteristic hourglass shape. Suitable for preparing Chimarrao-type yerba mate.

Brazilians have loved Chimarrao for a long time and this container was already in use before the European conquerors arrived in South America. Today, they are also very popular and many people in Brazil cannot imagine their lives without cuia and their favourite finely ground Chimarrao.
